Nursery and Retail Outlet

The first feature attraction of Ganngjalah will be situated close to the entrance/exit of the centre. An innovative circular structure constructed and fitted out with materials such as recycled wood, bamboo and noxious weeds will house a fully accredited indoor/outdoor nursery and visually intriguing retail outlet.

The nursery will be used to cultivate stock for all garden plantings, landscaping, screening and regeneration. Additionally, a section of the nursery will be used for:-

Research, development and cultivation of Australian native plants with a strong emphasis on rare and endangered species and those with economic potential;

Seed storage, processing and packaging to assist the dissemination of seed such as the above, to other botanic gardens, nurseries, commercial customers, etc.
