Ganngjalah (’gung-jar-lar’) is a cultural and environmental education centre set amidst a native botanic garden. Located on the far North coast of New South Wales, Ganngjalah is nestled within the Tweed Caldera in Bundjalung country.

Ganngjalah is being established to instill a deeper and nessesary understanding of traditional Australian culture, through demonstration and involvement, with recognition and respect for the environment.

Established on 30 acres and surrounded by 4 world heritage national parks, activities at this scenic centre include;

Educational Workshops

Creative social services for youth - programs include contempoarary music, art, theatre and sporting activities

Environmental restoration and regeneration - 3000 native trees planted to date

Cultural demonstration and involvement such as corroboree, boomerang and didgeridoo lessons, bush tucker cooking and tasting eg; wattleseed ice cream & bunya nut pancakes
